Fist crooning sounds like quite a niche genre. Let's hope you're able to trigger a growth in the market. The Scorpio sounds like a good friend to have.

Thanks for your confidence in what isn't yet written - it will probably appear in the autumn. High speed page turning guaranteed.

Brilliant framing of why we all end up dancing even when we'd rather not! That line about dopaminergic entrainment being the body's revenge on the mind nails it. I've been on both sides of this at weddings, first resisting with everyting I have, then thirty minutes later wondering who posted that embarrassing video. The distinction between spontaneous dance and la danse obligatoire (Hokey Cokey territory) is spot-on tho.

Haha! Yes - I think it's happened to all of us.

Simon, you might know a fella called Paul McCartney. His "Ever Present Past" video is based on his boogie-down moves (and a sly dig at Robert Palmer).

Paul and I are both amazing singer-bassists because we can't actually dance a lick. I love making the girlies twirl to my low C's and my crooning. If I don't have my favourite Scorpio-red partner around my neck, I mime guitar, drums, or sing into my fist with my best Jagger/Plant moves.

A great read. (Heads up: the amygdala is located in the ‘temporal’ lobe —there’s no ‘femoral’ lobe)

Haha! Yes you're right - femoral is the thigh bone, I believe. Mis-typed - should have been the temporal lobe. Thanks for spotting it. 👍🏻
