It has often mystified me how some great music never reaches a wide audience while absolute crap gets lapped up. Yesterday I listened to two wonderful pieces of music "Daquele Amor, Nem Me Fale" by Joao Donato and Wanda Sa which is as intelligent, moving and beautiful as a Beatles song (39,614 listens on Spotify) and Parties in The USA by Jonathan Richman. Now I understand - we are not provided with the best music but the music that will put the most money in the pockets of the people who own the music industry.
Yes, quite remarkable, and depressing, but, nice to hear your voice!
