⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Simon says so much insight in so few words! A Must Read for musicians and producers!

Brilliantly incisive. Uh oh, I fear that my intros are too long (even if, however, I feature the chorus right upfront, perhaps instrumental)! It has been known. I do love hooks.

Good commentary Simon but let’s not forget that true originators and innovators broke every rule and got there via the unexpected. The 7m 35s Hey Jude was The Beatles biggest selling single, Space Oddity was exactly what it says on the tin, and there’s many more examples. The essence of rock n roll was that rules were there to be broken, and with respect to him, Sam Fender isn’t going to write Ne Me Quitte Pas. Safety is what gets signed and hence it nearly always fails because we have a ton of it. The digital juke box of Streaming is cancerous to music because of the predictability, and like all things, it won’t last, but we are stuck with the world’s addiction to mobile phones and until they go, sadly, the world cannot be saved.

it will get worse - a chip in your brain - you'll just have to think of a song and it will play -if you think of anything else while it's playing, it will automatically switch to your new thought - you'll be longing for the days of good old mobile phones.
