Made me laugh out loud! 😆👍 Thank you for your stories, memories, insights, and most of all for your wonderful humor. 😊

I suppose we all evaluate ourselves throughout our lives in an effort to make sure we are happy, on track, and in keeping with our values and desires.

The happiest people on Earth, I think, are the ones who realize that their choices (past and present) don't define them forever (or even last week!)

The happiest people are the ones who decide every day what it is that truly makes them happy, whether it's consistent and in line with their previous behavior and choices... or not. They are willing to be unwritten, undefined and un trapped by the expectations of others and their own previous histories.

They continue to unapologetically evolve: whether this means breaking the mold of who they've been in the past, or celebrating and embracing their recognizable, familiar, well worn and contented selves, if this is what they prefer.

What matters most, is that each individual can look into a mirror, and know most assuredly, beyond any doubt, that what they are living is what makes their heart and souls sing with joy and gratitude each and every day because

there are no regrets... only opportunities to love more

Boldly.

I loved this story Simon it was very funny and relatable in so many ways, straight or gay, male or female and so on ... my tiny issue is just the title and it's appeal!

Speaking personally, I fully intend to get back into my old 32” waist clothes “one day”… but in the meantime, I would remind you that it was the French who invented the phrase “bon viveur!”
